Female skirt sewn in two pilka made of red jacquard cotton fabric, decorated with black satin ribbon, lace, gathered to the waistband, with a wide loop at the bottom and black velvet appliqué.

Materials: red jacquard: length 2.10m.

Velvet ribbon: length 2m. width 3 cm.

Satin ribbon: length 2m width 4cm.

Lace length: 4cm. width 3.5 cm.

Black waistband fabric: length 10 cm with a width of 1.50 m.

Seam allowances: 1.5 cm

All seams are made with black thread.

Using jacquard, cut out 2 widths 80 cm long. 1m wide. Sew together.

Sew together three snips of 20 cm long and 1.35 m wide on the shorter edges so that you get a long strip. Make on the upper edge 4 stitches with a machine to a width of 0.5 cm. (see the diagram)

Put and stitch the lower edge of the strip with 0.5 cm. Sew on the lace on top of the seam. Tighten the upper edge to a width of 2 m. Sew together the open areas of the strip, folding these with face inward.

Put together 2 large jacquard widths. Unfold to make 0.5 cm pin-tucks. Sew velvet and satin ribbon as shown in diagram 2.
